I'm a Nuyorican New Englander—born to Puerto Rican parents, raised in NYC, and rooted in Boston. I'm bilingual, a mother, a grandmother, and someone who has spent a lifetime working within Black, Latine, and multicultural communities. That is both my heart and my lens.
For over 25 years, I've led equity-centered change in education, healthcare, and social services. As a facilitator, coach, and former Boston University faculty member, I've helped nonprofits and recovery leaders strengthen their impact from the inside out.
I'm a champion of the peer recovery movement and have worked nationally across prevention, treatment, and recovery supports. My work includes leading retreats for healing and strategic action, always informed by my own lived experience in recovery.
In 2018, I was honored with the Commonwealth Equity in Governance Award by Governor Charlie Baker.
If you believe that a better system is possible, let's talk.
